Oh! My lord!!
Why are you keeping yourself
far away and aloof from me

If you come a little nearer to me
you can hear the chanting
beats of my devoted heart

For reasons unknown
may be due to ageing
I AM BECOMING ABSENT MINDED
and more inelastic

Is it an indication
of loosing my memory
please guard me from the drifts
I can’t keep myself away from you my lord!

Bless me with all
choicest ones you can pick
I AM YOURS FOREVER
OBEDIENTLY obliging your dictates
